Next stop, Curious George! At the Laurel-Jones County Library, located at 530 Commerce Street Laurel, MS 39440 from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.

This is an in-person event.

This event will be recorded, and pictures taken. We will share videos and pictures from this event on our website and social media channels for others to enjoy. If you do not wish for your child/children/family to be recorded or photographed on the day of the event, please follow the “opt-out” instructions that will be provided at the sign-in table.

Tales to Tails: Reading with Axel @LAU

FREE and open to all children from 2nd through 6th Grade.

Improve your child’s reading skills the fun way by reading aloud to our new Book Buddy.

Certified therapy dog Axel listens as children read aloud from a book of their choice. Children are welcome to bring a book from home or choose one from the children’s library.

Reading sessions are 15 minutes long.

Registration is required.
