You can register now on our Eventbrite. \nThe following must be done before the event to receive help: \nTo do: \nBoth parent and student will need an FSA ID. To get one\, go to www.studentaid.gov. You must use a separate email and phone number for each account. The FSA ID is tied to your social security number\, so if you have ever created one in the past\, you will use the same one. It is important to ensure you put all information in carefully and accurately. \nTo bring:\n• 2021 Entire Tax Return Packet\n• 2021 W2s and/or 1099 from all employers\n• Driver’s License or state-issued ID\n• Cell phone (both parent and student)\n• Student’s Chromebook or laptop (the library will have extras for those who do not have access to one) \nHere are a few things to keep in mind:\nWe will need those documents for both the student and the parent.\nEven if the student worked but did not file taxes\, we will need the W2(s) and/or 1099s.\nIf the parent worked but did not file taxes\, we will still need the W2(s) and/or 1099s.\nIf you did not work or file taxes\, you will only need to bring your driver’s license or state-issued ID.
