SUMMARY:Friends Book Sale @Sawmill Square Mall
DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Library will be hosting their 3rd Annual Book Fair at the Sawmill Square Mall (near Center Court)\, April 20-25. \nThe hours will be Monday through Thursday\, 10-7\, and Friday and Saturday\, 10-5. \nUSED books\, DVDs\, and audiobooks will be offered for sale\, and there will be special events throughout the week. \nSunday\, April 19\, 3 to 5 p.m.\, will be Shop & Mingle\, a time for Friends Members to come shop the Book Fair and meet with other Friends of the Laurel-Jones County Library. If you aren’t a Friends Member yet\, you are welcome to join at this event! \nOn Monday\, April 20\, at 4:00\, Author Kimberly Barrett will discuss her book Rethinking Race: A Memoir. \nTuesday\, April 21\, at 5:00\, the Friends will welcome Navy Veteran Buck Torske to speak about “How to be a Hero – Why writing matters and Why You Matter!”  Also on Tuesday\, 2:00-3:30 LOTTIE will be coming to the Mall! \nOn Friday\, April 24\, at 2:00\, Author Lollie Wheat will be sharing her new book Barefoot Beginnings: Beneath the Magnolia.  \nSaturday\, April 25\, will be Half-Price Day at the Book Fair\, AND Teachers (with their ID) will receive FREE Books for their classrooms!
